Kirk Kendall

Kirk Kendall is an accomplished mechanical engineer and project management professional with more than two decades of experience leading industrial and commercial construction projects. Based in Newfoundland and Labrador, he serves as Director, Industrial at DF Barnes, where he oversees strategic pursuits, contract development, and the safe execution of large-scale programs.

His background includes senior management roles with Grieg Seafood, Colliers Project Leaders, and Amec Foster Wheeler. Earlier in his career, he served as a commissioned Engineer Officer with the Canadian Forces and completed an eight-month tour in Afghanistan. These experiences shaped his structured approach to leadership and his emphasis on measurable results, communication, and accountability.

Kirk Kendall’s work continues to balance technical excellence with mentorship, ensuring teams remain focused on safety, scope, and quality. Outside of his professional role, he is active in his community as a soccer coach and enjoys hiking and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
